PGS Housing

Logo and bilingual website for an Amsterdam rental agency. The site opens in English for expats and switches to Dutch in one click.

Overview

PGS Housing finds rental homes in Amsterdam, for expats and for Dutch tenants, and helps landlords find a good tenant. I made the logo and the website.

The logo is a wordmark with a little house to the right of PGS: a roof with a chimney and a single window. It works in sage, white and black, even small on a business card.

The website is in two languages, English and Dutch, each with its own pages for renters, landlords, about, frequently asked questions and contact. At the client's request the site opens in English, because most visitors are expats. The flag in the menu takes you to the Dutch version. All the copy lives in one place, and on every build a script checks that both languages have the same pages and texts.

The design is spacious and calm: plenty of white space, rounded panels, forest green with sage and cream, and a photo of an Amsterdam canal at the top. The contact form and a WhatsApp button are always within reach, because someone looking for a home wants to talk to a person quickly.
